Sculpture. What is it? Why does it attract us so much?

Through sculpture, we can reproduce anything we want, from objects to people, with absolute precision and a timeless permanence.

Since primitive times, man has always had the need to sculpt everything that surrounds him. I am the same way; I need to capture the most beautiful things in life in a sketchbook and then later take them to my studio and create them.

This is how my most emblematic figures came about; two figures of my children when they were little, which is housed in my garden at home.

It was a sunny day and my children were playing outside. I felt the need to draw them and a few months later, I had them forever.

All of my sculptures have a story behind them and my relatives tell me that I capture a smile, a grimace or a pose with great respect and precision.

This brings me closer to the figure in a personal way and I am able to transmit emotions and irradiate life through my sculptures. I know this because of the complete satisfaction of all my customers, who I consider to be friends because of all the time we spend together during the process of making the sculpture.

In the end, my greatest satisfaction is presenting the piece to the customer. On one hand, I feel genuinely pleased about a job well done and when I see the look of happiness and admiration of the client and, on the other hand, I feel slightly sad because I must part with something that is mine, a part of me, a small piece of my soul.
